PVC coated wire ropes are generally used for cosmetic purposes as decorative restraints, or alternatively they can be used as suspension wires for electrical equipment where the wire needs to be shrouded to stop the possibility of conductivity.
The slings can be rated and certified if the PVC is stripped back around the eye where the ferrule is pressed.
